White Fillings

Restored. Invisible. Done properly.

A white filling uses tooth-coloured composite resin to repair a cavity, replace an old amalgam filling, or restore a chipped or fractured tooth. Matched precisely to the shade of your natural enamel, a well-placed composite filling should be essentially invisible.

At The Lodge, we do not rush restorations. The quality of a filling, how well it is finished, how accurately it is shaped, how precisely it meets the adjacent teeth, has a direct bearing on how long it lasts and how comfortable it feels. These details matter.

White fillings can be used throughout the mouth, including in posterior teeth where load and wear are greatest. In larger cavities, an inlay or onlay, an indirect restoration made in a laboratory, may provide a more durable outcome than a direct filling. Your clinician will advise on the most appropriate option for your specific situation.
